Been a patient over 30 years and the larger this company become the further away from their core practices they are removed... Patient care follow up is near none existence, Customer service is almost abolished, and to get a call answered or returned is basically a tragedy...I pray that they remember their mission statement from when they were a small clinic that cared about the spiritual, emotional, psychological and physical health of their patients/ community...

I have been going to this clinic for a long time. And before there were more kind and attentive people. Now the ones at the front desk are always on the gossip or distracted. The last 3 times I've been there they make a mistake about everything, they ask me my name and date of birth up to four times. What I am going for is that they make one feel unimportant and discriminated against. I hope someone reads this even though it's in Spanish.

I agree with the previous comments. They take a long time to answer and it is true sometimes they even hang up the call. Hopefully they improve in that aspect because before there was better service.

And when not on hold, they keep transferring you to "the nurses" line. Wich when they answer it's not "the nurses" line and they AGAIN tell you you'll be transferred to "the nurses" line. It's unbelievable.
You can call at the time we open. You can see our schedule here https://www.lawndale.org/main-clinic
I get a text sent to me letting me know my medication is ready for pickup.
Lawndale has a sliding scale for patients without insurance. It generally cost $30-$33 dollars per visit. Also after verification of pregnancy they will help you apply for insurance.
Hi Mari, our doctors have several specialties including family medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, geriatrics, and more. Please visit our website to see all of our health services. www.lawndale.org
Hello, we do have a podiatrist on site for established LCHC patients. You would need to be our patient and get a referral from your Lawndale PCP for podiatry services.
I threatened to leave with my insurance to go another medical facility the doctor came right out. I was on the phone with U of I Hospital
There is usually a $25 fee to see the doctor if you have no insurance but you can request to see the insurance person to see if they can help you obtain insurance. As far as the medicines are concerned, they can range in prices for non insured patients. Most are between $3 to $10 on the low side, I've seen some prices up to $30 but it all depends. With insurance the prices do come down, obviously and can even be 'free'
Hi Brenda, we offer walk-in appointments at our Immediate Care Clinic located at 3910 W Ogden Avenue. The Immediate Care is used for urgent issues that need attention (like illnesses, minor injuries, or infections) when you can't get a same-day appointment with your regular Provider.
