Had a long line to get in and it took like 3 hours to be done in the end it was a hot and miserable. But the food was great they gave us fresh vegetables and fruit. Even dog food. Lots of good people work there.

This place is great. Gave lots of food to include fresh veggies, meat & a frozen pizza! They definitely are attempting to make sure families are fed for the entire month.
One GOD
Thank you JESUS got this place π₯°

Of course you can visit there website and you can do it there. The community appreciates your kindness and help!
Unfortunately no we cannot deliver. Under limited circumstances the Salvation Army in Denton has been able to arrange some. Might try them. Not aware of any other agencies that deliver.
I'm sure they would accept them and gladly give them to they need. Go to there website and contact someone regarding donations. Not sure if they are open today!
Most food is labeled with a "Use By", "Best By" or "Sell By" date. These are quite different from "expired by" dates.....although I understand your concern. Let me try to address this issue. DCFC follows published guidelines from the Tarrant Area Food Bank (our primary local supplier) and Feeding America (national Food Banking organization). "Use By" indicates the last recommended day to consume a product for peak quality. "Best if Used By" indicates when a product will have the best flavor. "Sell By" indicates when a store has to pull the product from display. In all three cases food is still safe to consume after this date but use your best judgement. The only EXCEPTION is "Use by date" on Baby Food or Formula that are federally regulated and are not safe after date. Not enough space here to go into more details. We have posters at Food Center that explain. i.e. Dairy good 7-14 days beyond, cheese & butter 30 days, chips & crackers 6 mths, canned goods 5 years. Thanks....
Noβ¦we are not a shelter. We are a Food Pantry open on M & W 10:30 am to 12:30 pm (2 hours).
We are only open on Mondays and Wednesdays from 1 to 3 pm. We will be closed on Monday 1/18/21 for MLK holidays. You need to bring a photo ID ... it is a self service set up .... follow the food signs
ID, SS#, proof of residency address.
Yes, a drivers license or valid ID for the one picking up food for your family. I only had my license and only named all members of my family. They didn't ask for their ID's.
Go to the building right before 1 and ask if they need help.
Generally yes. Please check in with the Day Leader upon arrival (12:45 - 1:00 pm) to see. Come to the back loading dock door. We have limited space and sometimes have to send volunteers away due to lack of space. Our regular volunteers receive priority. Thanks.
Great Question. We are not a hot/prepared meal program......we are a food pantry (groceries, staple items, etc to cook and prepare meals at home with). We will be closed on Thanksgiving and the day after. The Village Church does the major Thanksgiving Day meal in Denton. Check out their website at http://thevillagedenton.church/event/1231668-2018-11-22-32nd-annual-thanksgiving-banquet/ for volunteer opportunities. Thanks.
Yes from 1 to 3
Taken drivers license and proof of residence to Community Food Bank with SS cards for everyone in your household. Between 1 - 3pm Monday thru Friday.
