Absolutely my latest great place to share My left over items, clothing, bedding, books, puzzles, toys, etc. This a great facility with wonderfully helpful workers.

I am a handicap woman that's middle aged, born with severe spine disorders & lung defect & I was commanded by a staff person to mask up or lose my bed. So me being sick of being bullied by shelter staff I decided to email the mayor because I know she is a good person. Her staff looked into the matter & The matter was fixed. God bless the mayor of Nampa. The truth is that while some of the staff are decent to the poor there's always someone that thinks they are a lord over God's heritage. After the mask issue was resolved, the shelter manager told me that she didn't appreciate me calling the mayor on her. I had a gut feeling that they now were going to make me pay for letting the truth out. And they did. That same night I was commanded to do heavy lifting chores by the same lady staff (you know who you are) or lose my bed. This woman who the shelter put in charge of poor women needs to be fired. I believe that as long as the authority's in this place keep turning a blind eye concerning these issues, that God himself will show up in His righteous judgements to rectify the situation. So long story short, I stay at a relatives on the weekends to shower & do laundry. And now because of a hateful staff member, Im made to sleep in my car out in the cold because of a bully who will never be reprimanded. Shame on you Valley House for calling wicked good.

The supervisor of this place has a big big heart to help ...π but no pets allowed other than that is great

The shelter discriminates against people that are not of their preferred religion. If you're not, they'll falsely accuse you of things you didn't commit and kick you out for no reason. They are not to be trusted whatsoever. Their rules change constantly and they're so inconsistent. The staff is awfully rude. And it feels like a prison more than anything else. They act exactly like the pharisees rather than Christians.

I don't work or volunteer there so I don't know. Give them a call and ask them.
Yes! You can drop them off at our Ministry Center at 308 S 24th St Boise, ID or at any of our shelters. Visit BoiseRM.org if you have any other questions! Thank you so much for your donation!
18 years old to volunteer on your own or with a guardian present for people under 18! Please visit BoiseRM.org/get-involved/volunteer/ to sign up
Thankyou
i guarantee you they will wait until they are expired to put them out or staff will take them home. Depends on who is working.
They take donations but I don't think they take it if it's opened.
Definitely not. But there are children there if you are allergic! π
It is night by night basis but as long as you are doing what is asked, generally, you get extended case management services.
Napa also offers a shelter for domestic abuse. If need be, call them first and have your name be put on the waiting list. I would also call Valley ahead of time, to insure there is room for you both. You could stay at Valley until your name comes up go the abuse center. Best of luck and God bless you! Safety first!!
