I came to this shelter last week to drop off some food for Thanksgiving, and nobody would answer the door. I rang, I knocked, there were people in there, I heard them, but they refused to answer for some reason. Thankfully, I was just trying to donate and not someone in desperate need of shelter, I will not be donating to this facility anymore. Shame on you.

Valley women and children
no. The only shelter that is a famicom that accepts men including the father is the sanctuary down in Boise Nampa is women and children only boys up to 18 years old
This is a day shelter for the whole family. It does have hours and days restrictions though. But everyone there is very nice.
They are open from 8-1 so its not an all day shelter, but they do serve breakfast and lunch.
There's also a men's shelter up on the North side on 16th Street
This shelter no longer has facilities for residents. Try the lighthousse rescue mission. That is the men's shelter and they always have room.
