I trained with Master Chris for the better part of 15 years. The last half I trained off and on. Chris brings decades of experience in teaching both martial artists and competitive athletes. I fought under the sidekicks banner in MMA, and kickboxing matches and even won an ammmy title at one point at the local arena. Master Chris lineage in Muay Thai is second to none, and it shows. He is ranked under sakasem kanthawong a 4 time world champion from Thailand. He is also highly ranked I believe with his 4 or 5 Dan under idahos most well renowned taekwondo instructor Master Sanchez. He has trained dozens of fighters both pro and amateur.Chris has an amazing ability to simplify things and works exceedingly well with children as well. When my little boy is of age I will be placing him into sidekicks lil dragons class. They focus more on movement and following directions to build a foundation for learning better technique as they get older. Sidekicks is where I grew up and holds a special place in my heart. I would not hesitate to recommend any of the classes at sidekicks.

As a learner in this industry all the instructors are very nice. They make sure that we have the equipment we need and they do very good with instructing by doing it repeatedly. Best MMA place I've been to.

Coach Chris Reyna and his team are beyond top notch. The gentleman himself is extremely an dedicated and diversely talented Martial Artist. But as a teacher and mentor he goes several steps beyond and really gives the students the best of himself so that they can reach excellence in their Martial Arts journey. Coach Chris is someone you can trust and rely on to push you to your best ability and help you find yourself in your training. I can’t possibly recommend his academy enough. If you are local to it, or even within an hour drive, or even just passing through and want a wonderful place to visit and train at, you would do very well to come here. It is worth the trip.
