Yesterday I took my new puppy here to EPAH for our first time. We had an excellent experience! Clean, nice facilities, caring, knowledgeable and helpful staff, welcoming, calm environment, and excellent care and services! Today I also had follow-on questions and called them. They were very informative and helpful. We'll definitely be returning here!

East Padden was the only vet in the county that could see my cat on a Sunday morning and are the only vet who acted like his ailment was an actual emergency when I called in. Yes, his treatment was expensive but the doctor was extremely upfront with costs and gave me treatment options. They also called after his procedure to authorize additional medication that would add to the bill. Extremely professional staff. Communication was great. I'd recommended them to anyone who finds themselves in a scary situation with their pet and needs help.

Dr. Amsler is so nice. She took good care of my rat when he had a cyst a few months and again over this last weekend when I brought him in for some teeth issues. Unfortunately, we had to take him a few days later to be euthanized. Everyone was very nice and they gave us a little card and his stamped foot prints. I wasn’t expecting that and it was so touching, very much appreciative that they took the time to do that.

I needed an appointment to have both my male cats fixed so I could help/adopt a stray female who needed urgent medical care. They fit me in when all the other clinics couldn’t see my cats until late March to June. I am so grateful for how quick and efficiently they were able to help me, in turn making it easier for me to save another animal who really deserves a chance at a happy life. I’ve also taken my dogs to this location and they’ve taken excellent care of them as well. This clinic really cares for the pets they are serving, and on top of that offers their services at a fair and reasonable price. I will be returning to this clinic for all future services!

Hello Heidi! We do offer progesterone testing and limited ultrasound, but do not have any doctors that specialize in reproduction. We are very comfortable with helping assist and conducting c-sections. We recommend Repro Revolutions as the local reproductive doctor. Thank you for checking in with us, and please feel free to contact the hospital for more information!
The current price of a scheduled comprehensive wellness exam with one of our talented doctors is $55.
We are both a hospital and a clinic. We see routine care cases such as wellness exams, vaccines, routine blood testing, dentistry, and routine scheduled surgery. We also see sick or injured patients, have the ability to hospitalize pets for more intensive care and do same day emergency surgery. We also do orthopedic surgery!
Yes, we see pocket pets!! We see anything with fur, such as rabbits, ferrets, rats, guinea pigs, mice, chinchillas, sugar gliders, and hedgehogs. At this time, we do not see birds, reptiles, or fish.
We definitely advocate for routine spay and neuter of pets, so thank you for reaching out! Our cat spay prices are currently $250, which includes preoperative bloodwork, intravenous fluids, preop and postop pain medications, multiparamater monitoring, and everything associated with the surgery (anesthesia, surgical supplies, surgery time).
Yes! We are now welcoming clients into the building to meet face to face with the doctor. Our urgent care, tech appointments, and surgery services will remain curbside for now, but stay tuned for more reopening plans to come!
I am so sorry to hear about your sweet older kitty. The cost for euthanasia is $215. We are open 7 days a week with evening hours too and can help you anytime.

Hi Duckie: Thanks for reaching out! Assuming no need for additional treatment or testing due to your pet's age or health, a spay is $375 and a neuter is $250.
Yes! We gladly accept Care Credit as well as most major credit cards, debit cards, and cash. Please let us know how we can help you and your pet!
We offer a variety of labwork and tailor the testing to your patient's specific needs. The cost can vary greatly depending on what we are testing. Some of our basic tests (complete blood count, chemistry panel, clotting factors) costs $75. A more comprehensive panel (complete blood count, chemistry panel, electrolytes, urinalysis, comprehensive thyroid testing) costs $185. Again, there are many options and we will work with you to chose the best and most cost effective test for your pet!
Our small dog spay package starts at $395. This includes the cost of the pre-operative lab panel ($75) that is required at least a day in advance. Our package also includes the IV fluid therapy, hospitalization, anesthesia, monitoring, pre and post operative pain medications, anti-nausea injection, laser therapy, nail trim, and an e-collar. Items that could raise this cost would be things like updating routine care, microchip placement, or if she happens to be in heat or pregnant at time of the spay. Please feel free to contact us with any questions, concerns, or if you are interested in setting up an appointment.
Oh no!! Ocular irritants can quickly progress to damage to the cornea (called a corneal ulcer) which can become infected and very painful. We strongly recommend an exam and eye stain to detect an ulcer ASAP. At home, you can safely use sterile saline rinses (can be found at your local drugstore) to rinse the eye well. Please let us know if we can help - we are open 7 days a week with extended evening hours!
Hi Aviva! Please feel free to contact us at the hospital to inquire about employment opportunities.
You can walk-in and they will accommodate you as their availability allows. Always better to just call ahead though to be sure you aren't wasting time.
Yes, we are happy to spay rabbits! Currently the cost, including pain medications to go home with the patient, is $375. Please feel free to call us anytime so we can help you with your bunny!
Fleas of all types can be a major problem causing significant itching for dogs! We recommend year round preventatives and currently recommend monthly Nexgard, which kills fleas and ticks.
We recommend every pet be given monthly parasite preventatives. Internal and external parasites are incredibly common and some can be dangerous to people too! Currently, we recommend Interceptor Plus (prevents heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, whipworms, and tapeworms) and Nexgard (prevents fleas and ticks) for dogs and Revolution (prevents heartworms, roundworms, hookworms, fleas, and mites) for cats and pocket pets.
In most cases, we recommend starting vaccines on puppies and kittens at 8 weeks old. However, we do recommend a physical exam on your new puppy or kitten as soon as possible after adoption, even if it is prior to 8 weeks old.
