Willow Urgent Care and Diagnostic Center

My wife was experiencing pain in her right hand and it had gotten to an excruciating level, so we decided to take her to urgent care. After taking her to Willow Urgent Care, they said that we should get X-Rays to check to see if there was potentially a fracture or something of that sort. This clinic does NOT have an X-Ray machine on site and used a service called San Joaquin Valley Imaging who brings in a mobile unit. BEFORE agreeing to this service, we asked how much the service would cost, and we were notified that it was $60 per image that they charge. At the end of the day, nothing was fractured, and we later found out that it was Arthritis related, and this visit to the Urgent Care turned out to be pointless. We paid somewhere around $300 for our visit Cash. 2 Months later, we get a bill in the mail from San Joaquin Valley Imaging for $490.66. This was extremely shocking so I decided to call Willow Urgent Care to see what this bill is about. Then I was explained to on the phone that the amount we paid per image was their FEE PER IMAGE. It wasn't even for the X-Ray itself. Wouldn't that have been great to know at the time of imaging and the potential cost of something like that which was not made aware to us. EXTREMELY DECEPTIVE service, I will never recommend this clinic and will be keeping my eye out from now on. Please don't get screwed like us.

If I could put less than one star I would. Poor attendant at the desk. Very unfriendly her back turned to the desk and on her phone. Hours state they are open till 6 but apparently stop accepting patients at 5:00. If they stop seeing patients at 5, then state that in your operating hours.

Please provide customer service training or hire a new receptionist. I have been in HR for many years and I have never come across an employee with such blatant disregard for a customer. She is your representation for your entire business. Good luck.

Fortunately I have only had to go there a few times. The few times I have gone the receptionist has been rude and seems unwilling to help. Went today at 12:30pm and was told they weren’t excepting patients. An urgent care not excepting patients? That’s the definition of urgent care, excepting patients. Terrible service!!!
