WSSC is a nightmare. They hire contractors to do water main upgrades/repairs but do not hold them accountable. There has been on-going work on my street with a temporary main in place and today my water was shut off without notice. Clearly this was planned work and not an unexpected emergency. I called to file a complaint and got passed around between departments because nobody wants to take responsibility. I got "I'm sorry for your frustration but my department doesn't handle this" from three different departments (customer service, claims, and the emergency dept). That's not helpful. I need advance notice so that I can be prepared and have clean water stored up for my immunocompromised family member. It may be the contractor's fault, but I don't pay the contractor. I pay WSSC so I hold them accountable.

Don't work for this business, the turn over rate for employees are high for temps. Just know if your a temp, your the helper it won't last long. Constantly was harassed and reprimanded by Dominique Tucker for no reason only that she is the ghetto trainee that has a nasty attitude. Johnson, Sheryl is a compulsive liar too, will nyst straight up ignore you if your hours are incorrect or if you have any problems unless you ho above her. I never worked for a company in my life that had so many unprofessional incompetent supervisors/trainers. They try to belittle you if you even ask a question. Also Barrios, Peter is very passive aggressive. Just complete bullies, luckily this job is a dime a dozen. The mere fact that they have someone like Dominique Tucker working for them that has no kooth, speaks volume in itself. Horrible experience, nothing but a popularity test. New hire that was a direct hire called out for a week! They essentially stopped Training for a week. I the temp called out for a day for being sick, and came back from lunch late once for being sick and an unexpected visitor from maintenance came and they fired me lol.
