I want to share my disappointments of shopping from this seller on Amazon Canada website. I bought a Preeti Mixer/Grinder from this seller. We make lots of chutneys, dry spiced powders, and batters for Dosa and Idly. Most of the mixer/grinders from Indian companies are decent and run a long time and since this purchase is a recent one, I can't say for sure how long this will run. But I am confident of it. I am really pretty easy going and accommodate simple mistakes and never write anything negative about the sellers most of them time. In this case, I am not only furious about their business practices, but I am disappointed with Amazon also that these things are not resolved properly. I ordered it on Canadian Amazon. It clearly states that it will be shipped from USA. Since I am a prime member, I thought it would be shipped free. But since the seller's shipping is not fulfilled by Amazon, I was charged for shipping. Till that point it is ok. Nowhere, I repeat, NOWHERE did the seller's page on Amazon ever state that there will be conditions applied for returns. Neither did Amazon give the fine print. I realized that I ordered an item that has 550 watts, and I was looking for 750+ wattage. So, I did not even open the box when the seller shipped it to me. I wanted to return it. And that's where things took ugly turn. The seller is charging me $70 USD and did not even give me free return label. Which means I would be spending another $50+ USD to send it back. That equates to $165 CAD. As crazy as it looks, I paid $239 for the item, and I will end up paying 165$ for sending it back. I even have screenshots to show that I could not find the relevant information about return shipping charges. If by crazy chance they do have that information, and I may stand correct about that, I Still question the practices of hiding that relevant information which is very useful for an Amazon shopper. Why do you make this important information so hard to find? After all, we are paying the premium of Amazon PRIME for these kinds of shipping complexities. DISAPPOINTED is the only word that comes to mind when I think of this seller. I am not crazy to lose $165+ CAD and send the item back. I am going to keep it. But I will probably not go back to this seller for any of my other needs.

I accidentally ordered a 220V appliance (I live in USA). Someone at Gandhi App noticed this and called me to check that I wasn't buying it to take overseas and then cancelled the order right during the phone call. I'm giving the business five stars for alert, kind, and proactive customer care.

Visit date - 09/02 It’s a great store with lot of options for India kitchen appliances and great prices too. Not just kitchen appliances, I’ve seen some Carrom boards, appliance’s spare parts too. I’d strongly recommend this store if you are looking for some India kitchen appliances and if you are in Chicago or traveling through Chicago. The prices are very reasonable when compared to local grocery stores where the similar items are sold. Also they provide good discounts.

Don’t buy anything here doesn’t honor warranty, these guys along with branch store robbing customers, just because we want 110v appliances. Please don’t buy, horrible customer support, waste of time and money. Will be suing the owner soon, already started the process.
