Budget car is different. I went to Avis. My first car was a Ford fusion the seas was stained. I told the attendant she replace with another car. I was happy.

I attempted to use Hertz once because at the time of my booking they had the lowest price to rent a car. So, I paid the $170 to book the rental & was scheduled to pick up the next day. My mom drove me to the Airport location & we went inside. I had my driver's license, and card with me. The man at the desk refused to give me the car because I did not have a credit card for them to hold the deposit on. I told him to hold it on my debit, he refused stating it must be credit. So, a car I had already paid for I was unable to drive and I only got a 70% refund which took days to receive after a long questionnaire. Since this occurred a few years back I've never attempted to book with Hertz, and have used Enterprise. They accept Debit as an acceptable form of payment and I've never had any trouble. It still bothers me at how callus the employee was refusing to let me rent a car I've paid for, and not wanting to help - did not want to speak with his manager to see if something could be worked out. No customer service skills at all.

I had purchased vehicle protection on the website and due to the fear mongering from the attendant working at the airport, I ended up purchasing another set of insurance for the car. The attendant told me the protection i purchased was for me hitting someone and not for someone hitting me. This cost me an additional $500. This was an awful and uncomfortable experience and i will never rent through hertz again. I know why the name of the company is this. It "hertz" to have your wallet so viciously attacked.

My flight was supposed arrived at 1030pm but was delayed. I called to asked and they say "if there's someone at the counter we'd be able to rent the car if not then you gotta come tomorrow". That was enough for me, so I did it with Alamo
No you do not! Its within the airport terminal itself
If you have your flight info on reservation they will track and wait an extra hour
They should be if the airport is open. They might out of cars unless you booked one.

No they don't, but it will not hurt to ask a manager on duty if it's possible, explain your situation and maybe they will.

The cost varies depending on size and features. Anywhere from $35 -$80 I'm guessing. Going to their website and selecting the location where you want to pick up the car would probably be your best bet.
The cargo van rental may be an option. Specific locations may have them available. Enterprise Rental Car has them.
If you are signed up for gold member, you can claim your bag and pick your car and drive out, no need to go to rental counter, it's free and easy, just sign up before you reserve you rental, give them your member number when you make the reservation
