For the price, it was ok place to stay. It was clear that this WAS a nice hotel that is now poorly cared for due to lack of staffing. The housekeeping staff was still working at 9pm to clean rooms on our floor. The room itself was clean-ish (could probably benefit from a deep clean), but the linens were all clean, as was the bathroom. The pool was far smaller than expected, but just fine for my 8 year old. The pool room had no windows open, fans, or AC, and was like sitting in a sauna. There were no clean towels available for swimmers and we had to use one we brought down. We had to drive down to the next exit to find a larger variety of places to eat a meal. The breakfast wasn’t anything to write home about, but they had a decent variety and enough for everyone. Overall - was it the nicest hotel I’ve ever stayed in?? No. Not by a long shot. But I’ve been in much much worse. The staff was friendly, the beds and baths were clean, and the price was reasonable.

I’m going to be very honest in this review. This hotel was not good. There was mold in the shower curtain and it was just dirty in the room. The pool tasted very salty and it was very small. The only good thing was the breakfast. I do not recommend going to this hotel.

Frist of all being a regular customer and being a diamond member don't mean anything to these people.. Before I came tonight to get my room I called to see if any suites was available and the person said yeah there is.. not 20mins later I came and got the room hoping for the free upgrade for diamond members and then she's like no none are available!! And the workers are usually nice but tonight very very rude.. But other then that.. This is a great place to go.. The breakfast is great, pool is great and yeah the single bed rooms are small but the name itself states that. But tonight was my only and frist complaint!

I have stayed at Microtel before but this one did not m ensure up at all. I will say the staff was very pleasant and helpful but unfortunately that does not make up for an absolutely tiny room. Also housekeeping could use a refresher on what cleaning a room entails. Areas along the baseboards were extremely dusty. Stained cushion by the windows eat was fairly off putting. Location was not bad,, fairly easy off/on the interstate. Personally, I would not stay here again.
