Was an interesting experience. Good news is that they had a car for us to buy. With the limited number of cars on lots at this time ... that is a positive. Had the normal dealership run around with going to the manager 3-4 times ... which was strange because there was "No Negotiation on price of the car due to supply and demand." But there was a lot of negotiation on their part with the price of our trade. Was told a price for the trade and when we brought the trade in - the actual offer was a LOT lower than what they quoted. So had the normal "let me check with the manager" run around game .... luckily we had a two quotes from Carvana and Carmax for the trade - which was considerably higher than their offer. After the car was agreed upon and paperwork was signed ... we were told to sit tight while the car was detailed and gassed up. When we got the car - it was not gassed up. In the big scheme of things ... not a big deal ... but keeping your word and doing the little things do matter. Changing the offer on the trade, not filling up the gas when they told you that is what they were doing ... is just proof that this company's word isn't worth much. (picture attached)
