I visit Steubenville frequently, and this is my favorite place to stay on those trips. The half hour drive to St. Clairsville is more than justified by a consistently positive experience at this hotel. For a surprisingly low nightly rate, you get a comfortable, clean, and quiet room. The staff is always courteous and the facilities are beautifully maintained. There are nice little touches too, like flavored water and cookies in the lobby in the evening. In my experience, Comfort Inns and other Choice hotel brands tend to be hit or miss, but this particular location is a consistent hit on every visit.

The room was clean and comfortable! They even have brand name tea in the rooms! The breakfast was great with the delicious omelets vs the typical scrambled eggs. A great variety of other breakfast items! The staff is friendly and helpful! I wish all the other more expensive choice hotel locations would take a lesson from this location and step up their game!! This location is a hidden gem!! Don’t let their economical price scare you! They are 100% in our “WILL stay here again list”

Positive: Hotel was very clean, staff were helpful and friendly. Good, hot breakfast selections. Negative: The hotel was wonderful. Only wished there were restaurants or convenience stores within walking distance, but there were several close by so it was not a big deal. Had a wonderful stay!
