This motel is a two story motel (meaning its 1-2 stories and the rooms are accessed from the parking lot or outside. My room was 2 beds with wood floor, flat screen TV, microwave, fridge, blow dryer, table, 2 chairs, dresser, little closet and a little counter space, free wifi and cable. The door wouldn't shut unless you pushed really hard and even then I woke up with my door open, good thing I locked the top bar. Some rooms, I think the 1 beds, have a bathtub and shower combo. The 2 beds have a small square shower with rough tile floor. They are part of the homeless voucher program. Lots of people hanging around outside, in little groups, all hours of the night. Making noise and being loud. I've had 3 people so far knock on my door at weired hours having the wrong room. You can tell there are drug deals going on people go up to someone shakehands and leave and drug usage you can smell it. People hang out under the stairs, I don't even think they have a room here. The rooms are small and in the two bed the 2nd bed blocks the bathroom door. The maids clean well enough once a week or so. The floors are gross and not clean, your feet turn black after walking around for 5mins. It's uncomfortable to walk to the drink/snack machines, your car, the office, or to walk your dog when you have to walk by groups of 4 or 5 weired guys standing at the stairs, or sitting on the stairs. And there was a roach on the wall!!!

Service was good here, but the place is pretty noisy and the place wasn’t as clean as I was expecting. Decent price though!

Not worth a star! Left room to take care of laundry and came back to witness the owner and a few gentleman inside the room fixing the toilet. My old man paid for another night earlier this morning and we were never made aware that they would be coming into the room for maintenance. Had debit cards out in plain view and our personal belongings inside our room. Not expecting that anyone would be inside the room while we were away. I would not recommend staying here due to those factors.

This place is definitely one of the best hotels in el cajon! The managers are reasonable and they dont bug you at all unless they absolutely have to. Prices are fair, rooms are definitely on the upper class end of the scale. Theyre always clean, the maids dont speak english but they will always try and have a laugh with you trying spanish. This would be my first choice to stay if i am in the unfortunate position of staying the night in el cajon. Good size tvs and tv service. Comfortable beds. No bugs. Thumbs up.
