Highland Park Neighborhood Park

It's a good park, never seams too crowded. There are tables to eat at if it's not being rented out. Otherwise bring a blanket and sit in the grassy area. There is a basketball court and one restroom. I do always find every time I go, its windy.

I've taken my toddler there a few times but I wish it had a teeter totter. She loves those.

From the "Trailhead" by the bathrooms you can summit Mt. Highland, the high point in the park. The photos show the trailhead sign, the trail looking back at the summit, and the verification of location and elevation. Spectacular views, for experienced hikers and climbers only.

I went for a walk on the outside of this park, as it has a beautiful outlook over part of the city and highway. It also has a big open area, a playground, a basketball court, and a shaded sitting area. Overall, it is a great place to throw a frisbee, go for a walk, and even play some basketball with friends.
