We absolutely love the park, however our last experience was horrible. We stay there 4-5 times a year. We called a month earlier for reservations they said the had one spot left and we could have it. No mention of a fee to hold it as it was the last spot. We drive 3 1/2 hours and when we show up they have moved us into a spot that wouldn’t even house our 35ft trailer. Then they said sorry we have nothing for you. We were stranded in the middle of summer with nowhere to go. Extremely disappointed ☹️

This Campground was awsome, fairly small and quit. The loop is well laid out and easy to maneuvering through with our TT. The Restrooms and shower house are outdated and leave a little to be desired but the beach.... this campground is litterally feet from the beach, and it is just beautiful. We will definitely be coming back.

We stayed here on April 8 for one week. We had a traumatic day. Our RV was struck in a hit and run accident. I was not sure we would make it. I spoke Erin on the phone. She was so sorry and sympathetic to us. She held our reservation till we could decide if we were to make it. We did and it was a very nice relaxing end to the day. The park is right on the ocean which calmed us after the accident. The staff was so understanding and accommodating when I asked to stay longer. The sites are clean and easy to park. Thank you to everyone who works there for understanding and helping us. Very peaceful and quiet here. I will be back someday.

Beautiful place, very short stroll to the beach, sites with fire pits. 2 of the 4 showers are working & 1 of the 2 washing machines. Sites are kind of small but grassy & clean. Lots of happy kids running around. Nice beach. Unsure if fires on the beach are allowed.

I have not heard anyone turned away because of age
No fires on the beach. Only fire pit fires allowed ❤️
No, it's not a timeshare resort. We've stayed there a couple times this year, great location and facilities. I believe if you're a Good Sam member, the 4th day is free, if you stay that long. A little on the pricey side, but again, great location.
Currently no cancellation fees till December 31, 2020
Try going online with your confirmation number. They have a call center for all of their resorts
I didn't have any problems a couple of weeks ago in the campground or riding my bike on the beach. Nice RV park and people; just a bit pricey.
Not adjacent to the campground. The two lane highway is curvy and has lots of vehicular travel. You could ride up into Bastendorf park and down to the beach .
They have a telephone number. Call them.
There are some nice tent sites near the beach. The park models are great cabins. I have stayed in them several times and loved it
I it's actually in Cape arago State Park. The campground itself is right on the beach. It is very close to all the parks including Shore Acres which has a fabulous December light display. It is also close to the little fishing town of Charleston. Be sure to stop in at The Crab Shack and crabby Cakes Bakery.
