Beautiful beach off the beaten path. Easy access to the bay as well. It looks like a place lots of people take their bikes on, and there are always sightings of shore birds there

Beautiful beach somewhat off the main trail. Great surfing, fishing, and just about anything beach. Mecox Bay is right across the sand. Sometimes it's kept open to drain out the bay. I don't recommend trying to swim in it because of the tides and depth. Wonderful place for kids, animals, and families.

Easily our favorite beach experience this summer!! Scott Cameron requires a sticker, but we had the opportunity to tag along with some friends and had a blast!! There was a great tide pool that was warm and shallow enough for the baby and toddler in our crew.. But the big kids loved jumping in the waves and swimming in the narrow inlet that leads to the bay.. It was a little crowded when we were there, which I assume is usually the case during the peak season because this spot is just perfect, but the other families were all having fun and the kids were pretty well behaved.. There were plenty of new friends for our kids to play with.. The parking lot is pretty big but the walk down to the beach is quite short.. If you have a chance to visit Scott Cameron Beach don’t pass it up!!
