I've used PODS previously before and had great interaction. That past experience led me to recommend them to others as well as use them again. Customer service has been extremally poor when asking for weight tickets after being very explicit about needing them due to the fact is that is how I would be reimbursed. They did not provide me with weight tickets as needed and have been unresponsive to remedy the situation. If looking to move and needed additional documentation I would suggest using another service. **************************************************** UPDATE: After this post they responded to email them. I did that day. They asked for my account pin and I responded same day. It has been 4 weeks since hearing anything from them. Additionally, I had submitted a claim with them as well about 5 weeks ago for the same issue. They will say "48 to 72 hours" you will receive an update, but that has yet to happen. If you are military and executing PPM, I highly recommend using another company.

I've used PODS for both storage and moving on different occasions. I haven't ever had a problem with their responsiveness or my ability to gain access to my storage container when needed. I would definitely recommend PODS for both moving and longer term storage.

We used PODS to store and move our belongings cross-country. We had a great experience with all the moving parts. We would recommend for individuals like us that wanted to have more control as to how our belongings were packed and transported.

The most difficult part of the experience with PODS was the communication during delayed transit. We delayed our future plans by 3 weeks due to PODS poor communication regarding the delay as a result of bad weather during transit. Calling someone to assist was not helpful, they could not do anything. PODS rescheduled my delivery on their own timeline without my knowledge, though I could change the schedule online. Additionally, when I had to add another pod the company had to create a second order stating that since my POD had been delivered to my first address to be packed it could not be part of my original order it had to be a separate order, which cost more money than if it was just added to my order. When speaking to agents the second order delayed communication as they had to log out of one order and log into another and their computer systems are slow. I only had one item break in transit and the website is VERY confusing as to how to file a claim. Overall PODS was cheaper than all other agencies, their drivers were amazing, but the communication when schedules are delayed and the inability to add on to an order means I will not use PODS again in the future.

Hi, Pat! Our containers sit relatively low to the ground, that most customers don't need ramps. Our PODS containers sit approximately 4 inches off of the ground.
