Dishonest establishment. Abbey Ridge is illegally trying to make me pay for another month of rent even though it goes against our signed contract. They also charged more for water per month than what is stated in our signed lease agreement. They don't care about their residents safety and they are unreliable. When I first moved in, I notified them of an ill fitted window and they were irritated with me for reporting the issue. The window posed heating/cooling issues and safety issues as well since it would not lock. I lived there a year and they never replaced the window that would not lock on our first floor apartment. Residents were also disrespectful and of bad character. For instance, we left for a weekend only to find our neighbors had thrown a cigarette on our patio furniture. The cigarette burnt a large whole through the cushion. My car was also vandalized in the parking lot while away for the weekend another time. Neighbors were constantly outside smoking so we were unable to enjoy fresh air on nice days. Cigarette buds were strewn about everywhere and neighbors left trash for days on end in the common entryway.
