A nice trail with some pretty overlooks. However, most of the trail is under tree cover and it gets a bit overgrown a mile in or so. Also a heads up that the whole road is gravel for a few miles to get here.

It's a beautiful trail but there are no blazes. It's helpful if you have a gps track to find your way.

Is the buckeye and caney creek loop closed? The all trails app is not reporting it closed. We are from out of town and are worried we will show up to a closed trail.
