It was first time going to this salon, and I wont be going anywhere else from now on! Sarah is amazing, she listened to exactly what I wanted and made my hair look even better than I expected and she fit me in super quick! Not to mention the prices are fantastic!

The quality is great but the customer service is very hit-an-miss. They’re either very inviting and friendly if they have an opening or indifferent and outright rude if they don’t need the business. My first session here was 20 mins late because their facility was locked (during business hours) and no one responded to my knocking or answered the phone.. there were 3 of us clients waiting when they finally answered the door. The lady I worked with was great, very accommodating and went out of her way to take precautions so as not to damage my hair. Unfortunately her coworker is the reason I will not be returning. A woman came into the shop asking for “a quick trim” for her mother as they were only in town for a few hours and the other salons were closed. The coworker apologized saying they were booked for the day to which the woman insisted it would just be “real quick.” Now, I completely understand that a walk-in requesting a session is typically not feasible especially during a booked schedule, and then insisting on the duration (essentially telling a hairdresser how long their job takes) is borderline insulting, however it is still a customer service job that requires tact in denying service. The coworker however became over-dramatically sarcastic and repeated the exact same words in a shrill passive aggressive tone with a “Barbie-like” smile. The hostility could not be missed. The woman thanked her and left and though I knew she could not he serviced, I felt terrible at her petty treatment. The whole shop then went on to gasp at her audacity and applaud the coworker for telling her off. If I didn’t have a bottle of solution in my hair I probably would have excused myself, paid, and left right then. I did have a follow-up appointment that I canceled shortly after, had done elsewhere, and will not be returning. I understand that it is unfair to the other ladies that work there who may have responded differently, but I have no desire to be in an environment that applauds that kind of behavior.

I want to thank Sarah for putting much effort and giving me a great haircut according to my wish. Even though my hair is a mess and i am a new client, she did an amazing job!
