The campsites are great. Heaps of room. Awesome. It is a shame the town is not as good. It makes Blythe look good, and that really takes some doing.

Great place to camp. Plenty of room, any rig is welcome here. Water, propane, and sewer dump available nearby, ( RV Pit Stop). 5.3 miles South to Quartzsite.

There are several LTVA ( Long Term Visitors Area ) around Quartzsite Thete are 2 on Hwy. 95 S.They're across the road from one another. Go to the visitors office and get your permit. $180.00 for the season. You can use your permit at any of the LTVA. I'm not sure of all the locations because I boondock. There's one in Yuma, I believe. You do know you can camp on any BLM land for free, right? With easy access to water and trash drop off.

Where do you get the potable water and where is the dump station in plomosa blm? Also, if the government shut down continues thru Dec of 2018 into Jan 2019 will you still be able to get water and dump your tanks?

Robert Dalga | Oct 5, 2019

Pit Stop is a privately owned. Propane, water and dump station is available. A few miles toward Quarzsite. The Government shutdown will not affect camping on BLM land. Enjoy your trip
