Spiritually Exhausted

Dear Grace Bible Church Pastors and Elders, I have been a faithful member of Grace Bible Church for many years. Participating in AWANA, Youth Ministries, VBS, and attending Sunday Morning services. Your leadership is gravely disappointing. I have heard many of the rumblings among congregates who have left over the past years and have turn a deaf ear. But I can not be silent any longer. You allow a pastor who was inappropriate with student to stay on your staff! And then you promote that individual to higher leadership. I don’t need to know the details but the very fact that you have a student that felt unsafe around an adult and you didn’t deal with that issue and fire or discipline that pastor is beyond. This 2022, this is not 1975 where a pastor can get away with their toxic patriarchy and hide their sins under the rug. When a child is victimized and they feel unsafe there must be justice. Not only is this an outrage but you also allow your senior leader to berate and verbally assault people who get in his way or don’t line up with his political or personal views. You have brushed disfunction under the rug for too long and people are no longer going to stand for it. The spiritual and emotional abuse your leaders have caused has gone on long enough. I am here to say that hiding perpetrators and allowing unhealthy and volatile man to preach is not only bad leadership but it’s dishonoring to God. Sincerely, Spiritually Exhausted

I have attended Grace Bible Church for 39 years and have found it to be well founded on principles of the Bible. I served in children’s ministries most of those years and raised my kids going there. They really care about families and screen their workers well. There are numerous outreach opportunities to people in need and for anyone who would like friendship and prayer.
