Im a trans non binary person and I can’t here to see my new pcp. The whole experience was amazing. There’s lgbtq flags everywhere and it’s very clear they support queer people here, which immediately made me feel more comfortable. There’s plenty of parking which makes it easier. There’s directories and directions on where to go all over and it makes it very easy to get around without asking for help, which I have a hard time doing. I don’t think I ever want to go to another clinic.

My wife had an appointment at 2:45 for imaging. After waiting 30 minutes my wife asked how much longer. She was told "we are short staffed, a technician called in sick, and procedures have gone long." I'm sorry, but why weren't we told this when we checked in? As we were waiting four women came to get mammograms only to be told the machine was broken, but "we called everyone. You must not have gotten our message." Knowing the lack of communication we experienced, makes me wonder if they actually called the women. At 3:51 the technician (Mary) came to get my wife. The technician was great and thorough. Salt Lake Clinic, your communication skills are horrendous. Be upfront and honest with your patients. I would give you one star (would be lower if possible), but your technician was exemplary.
