The sign advertising the room sign says $59.99. However because it's the weekend they say it's 99. But the sign stays at $59.99 and can be see from the main road and interstate. So they are falsely advertising to bring people in and then basically just charging whatever they want. This is illegal and will be reported to the BBB. Additionally the rooms they like to cluster everyone in are I'm the last building. It's so old and dated back there, there is grass growing I'm the parking lot. They don't have ac on the lobby for their unfortunate employees that have to deal with constant complaints due to the owners poor business practices. Last the internet is terrible and the rooms have phones but no service. But hey they just put in a bunch a flowers on the property. Maybe mow the parking lot first. You have to ask for a front room to get one and those rooms are clean and nice. The elderly people who do the housekeeping do a great job!

I’m giving this hotel no stars because it does not deserve stars. The owner is rude I books a non smoking room and the lady gave me a smoking room. I complained several times and she was rude and nasty, she gave me sanitizing spray and was very dismissive I tried complaining through corporate but this is a franchise location. The rooms that have non smoking have a sign and the rooms that do show an ashtray and does not have a sign.

Clean room but not as advertised. No phone, no microwave, no coffee maker, no breakfast. I was awoken one morning to housekeeping just barging in while I was nude! No concern for privacy. They asked if I needed towels but I never got them..had to run all over to find any. Made me extremely uncomfortable.

Private Idaho

I have stayed in this Motel 6 several times now and have always gotten a clean room and good service. It is literally right next to I64 at the Rt 17 exit, so you won't get hung up in Newport News traffic. The folks who run the hotel are extremely nice and helpful - just ask and someone will take care of any issues you have. You can't beat the low price so this Motel 6 earns 5/5 stars in my book.
