We are so fortunate to have our Dad make this his retirement home. Any moment our Dad had a health scare, we got a call and were asked how we wanted to proceed. Very intense level of care. The people love their veterans residents so much. I can't thank them all enough. Beautiful facility too.

Staff is good to their patients and referring to them as heros. Never smelled of urine in years n visits before Covid. Many year wait list so sign up before its needed.

This is a phenomenal home. My dad has been here for almost five years. He has dementia and is a difficult patient to manage. Ben Atchley is a godsend. Cost wise, it is no more expensive than the previous home he was in. (None if them are cheap.). There is usually a waiting list to get into Ben Atchley, so that should tell you something.

Ben Atchley is not a VA represented veterans home. They are not affiliated with the Department of Veterans Affairs whatsoever and claim that the VA pays 50% of the cost when a real VA nursing home is free for those who served our great nation. They only discount their prices here. Please advise this place is a scam using their location for convenience and profitability here in East Tennessee. Q

Only veterans and their spouses are accepted.. I do not know what the insurance criteria is..
Family can visit all throughout the day, it is their home so it's treated as such, and is encouraged for anyone who wants to come visit their family
