Housing Connect has helped me more than any other resource I've reached out to amongst many. Dept of Work Force Services would be the 2nd most used for assistance. If it wasn't for Housing Connect I could very well still be struggling and homeless without any hope of gaining housing. Over 5 years ago I was blessed to receive housing assistance, safety and stability for my family.

The employees are so mistreated that they have honestly lost hope in the "mission" and it certainly shows!

Is there a way of applying for housing online?
Once your approved then you have 60days to find a place. They will give you a voucher and tell you how it works.
Hi! I believe you can try rentrelief.utah.gov.
Personally i hand delivered mine n faxed & they lost it i am on my 2nd time as well there are new workers in there that are trying to help fix everything n very polite ~ call for recording of business hrs good luck blessings
A LOT!!! Do not go with the Housing Authority of Salt Lake City!!! Go with Housing Authority of Salt Lake County!!! Trust me!! I have been through this in several states, city verses county. The county will enable you to search throughout ALL of Salt Lake City whereas the city is only within the city proper geo area, and sometimes specific designated propeties, city much more limited!! Heads up, city is usually lower in voucher amount rent caps, also. I do not know why this is, but it is, from experience, county much better!!!
Hi David, if you are witnessing criminal activity, we suggest you contact the police. Good luck!
Where are you trying to enter it?
They uswd to have a 40% option but discontinued 6 yeare ago. U might get luck though. Good luck.
It covers all of the cities in SL county from Herriman to Rose Park. There is also a Housing Authority of Salt Lake city that just serves the one city. I believe that they have joint waiting list they pull from for both Public Housing and the Section-8 voucher program.
