Just had my hair cut by Alicia and it was the best salon experience I have ever had. As an autistic person, getting a haircut can be overwhelming for a lot of reasons, and I tend to avoid going as much as possible. But after today I’m feeling much more comfortable with going to get my hair done more frequently! I don’t know if it’s just Alicia’s style or if she picked up on my vibe, but this was a quiet, peaceful, no small-talk styling experience, which is an autistic person’s dream. She understood exactly what I was looking for in my cut and did an amazing job. She was also gentle and didn’t get any water in my ears while she washed and styled my hair. The salon is also fairly quiet and has pleasant lighting. I love it here!

Chad was amazing to work with here! He made sure I was happy with my results, and cleared his schedule to work around mine which was extremely thoughtful. I am sooo happy with the results, and it was the best experience going to Curl Co where they have all the skills and products for curly hair. It was an excellent salon experience with amazing customer service :)

Yes yes yes yes! I loved my experience at Curly Co. Frankly, I’ve been traumatized by other nice salons where I’m constantly getting up sold on additional treatments and products, and walking out without the haircut I asked for, and spending $$$s in the process. Curly Co. was nothing like that. The vibe was so good, Chad gave me exactly the cut I’d hoped for, and he EMBRACED my waves and curl instead of flat ironing it to death! He gave me a cut that was trendy and fun but fit my lifestyle and my natural hair. This joint is the hair unicorn you’ve been looking for. Go!

This was a frustrating experience. The person who cut my hair was kind, but in training which I didn’t know until the end. I asked for it thinned 2x and she never thinned it. I didn’t ask again because i wondered if she knew how to use thinning shears - people have messed that up in the past. I asked her to trim the back (she said it looked good and so didn’t even touch it). She tried, but it kept flipping. The stylist called the manager over (because she didn’t know what she was doing). The manager came over and said what I wanted would make me “look like an upside down pineapple.” She was then trying to explain how to thin my hair, but walked away and she still didn’t thin it the top. Had she thinned the top and shortened it (as freaking requested from the start), cut the edges of my hair a certain way people who know my hair type do (where my hair doesn’t flip nearly as much as it is now), it wouldn’t look as she described or the way it does now. I’ve gone from short to long hair so many times and they’re acting like there’s nothing they can do and that this is “just the awkward stage.” I’ve been in the awkward hair stage before, this is it, and it doesn’t mean it has to look BAD. It really looks bad. The last person who did my hair said you just have to know my hair type and she made my hair look great when going short to long. There have been others who know my hair type and how to cut it going short to long so I’m not buying their “awkward stage”-it’s more they’re incompetent. Just say you don’t know how to do it and I’ll go somewhere else. I didn’t feel listened to - literally didn’t do what I asked and she also didn’t shave my neck line either. I’ve had better cuts at Great Clips on a lunch rush. I seriously hate this hair and I left voicing I didn’t like it. They tried to get me out the door as fast as possible. While I wanted to grow my hair out, it’s secondary. I wanted a good style-even if that meant shorter hair as I go long bouts between hair cuts and told them this, but again-they didn’t listen. Lastly, I got home and part of my hair was dry from her not having put water on it when washing and the other part still has shampoo in it. I strongly advise going somewhere else.

Thank you for your question! Yes we are still a Devacurl salon. Devacurl has addressed their product concerns to allow Devacurl salons to safely continue using their product. We'd love to see you!
Yes we do!! Please feel free to check out our website and schedule online or call the salon and we will schedule you an appointment
They're great with all hair types
Yes
This is one of the few salons where black hair isn't an issue. I have 3c, 4a mix and my hair has never been better. Highly recommend
I know some of them will do a Brazilian blowout. On their scheduling site they list the whole menu and after you select a service they'll show you everyone available to do it.
They are all self employed and set their own rates. I see Frankie Nemanic and her pricing is wonderful and her skill is out of this world
I used to pay $80, which included tip. $60 for the cut
