with housing it does just depend on the rent amount AND your income. Affordable rent is usually 30% of your income, and then housing authority figures out the rest

Yes the Housing Authority can help you get a section-8 voucher that can help pay the rent in an existing apartment (if it qualifies) or in a new apartment. They can help you in both the city of Salt Lake or in Salt Lake County. The wait list is long so apply as soon as you can.
Myelig packet deadline was yesterday the 10th or augusr. I was wsiting on a document. And no transportation to get it to the officr. Ill get there today the 11th. Do you know if they will accept it?

My 42 year old son has just had his leg amputated from 6 inches below the knee. He is unemployed- especially now and needs a place . How does he get on the list for section 8 accommodation!
