Very nice! Went here as a sort of home base for me and my buddies' galavanting. Real homey, great environment and nice pricing to boot. You could always get that new game at Walmart, why not try supporting your local business?

Excellent friendly place to play your favorite hobby! I love that they have such a great selection of products and hobbies. They also have an amazing play area with a ton of different terrain pieces, if that's your preferred hobby. ;) Make sure to check them out!

I like the environment. Easy going everyone gets to play

Great game store. Large selection of games, clean, well lit store. They have space for playing games and have regular nights for Magic, Warhammer, Warmachine/Hordes, Conquest, RPGs and more. Check the website and calendar for details! They are great for letting people come in for casual play and game nights, and have a huge selection of games to test out. They are very responsive to Facebook and other social media questions.

Having used similar Character Sheet web-based applications, it is reliable
Officially, Monday night is Commander night. But turnout has been fairly sporadic lately. It stopped happening during Covid, and we haven't had a consistent group since then. We're happy to keep supporting it for whoever shows up to play.
We do not buy Pokemon cards. Sorry!
Yes it is. There is a weekly tournament on Saturdays. 1:30pm. $5 entry fee
All of our employees wear masks when interacting with customers. We clean high contact areas (like the cash register area) regularly. Nobody works if they're feeling sick or suspect they've been exposed to Covid. We are happy to cover each others' shifts as needed to make sure we don't get other people sick. We ask our customers to be respectful of others and wear a mask when within 6 feet of others. But we do not require or enforce that our customers wear masks. (Especially if they're playing games in the back corner of the store, away from customers, and they're playing with people they regularly hang out with anyway.) We try to be responsible and respectful, and recognize that people have legitimate reasons for wearing masks, not wearing masks, as well wanting those around them to wear masks. We trust our customers to behave like adults and respect those around them as much as possible.
We have regular D&D games that are open to the public on Tuesday nights. New players are always welcome! We also have an active Facebook group that can provide you more up-to-date information at https://www.facebook.com/groups/2114888615456036/
The most recent set is Ravnica Allegiance. We're hosting a prerelease for the next set, "War of the Spark", on April 27th
We host Pokemon League at 6pm on Wednesday nights. It's very casual with no entry fee, and we do have promos to give to anyone who shows up to play.
We have a Facebook group that's dedicated to role-playing. That's a great place to post to find people to play with. We are currenly working on getting Adventurer's League going again. (Adventurer's League is designed for open-play, where anyone of any skill level can show up and play without having to commit to the game long-term.) The link to the group is https://www.facebook.com/groups/2114888615456036/permalink/2201738360104394/
Yes they do. Thursday night is the regular night to play, but they have a facebook group you can join and usually find someone who can play on other days.
We do take used board games. The secondary market for board games is difficult (as games tend to sit on the shelf for a while, and shipping costs are very high if they are not sold locally), so we typically give 25% of MSRP in store credit or 12.5% in cash for used games, assuming the game is complete and in good condition. We can give a little bit more for high demand/expensive games, but we look at those on a case-by-case basis.
You can also get individual dice from the bowl up front if you need some extra d20s or whatever, think they're less than $1 if I remember right.
Yes, we carry a wide variety of dice sets, from the traditional hard-plastic Chessex brand (the type you're probably most used to), to fancier dice sets made out of metal or semi-precious stones (such as Jade, Quartz, Tiger-eye, etc.).
They do every Saturday at 1:30pm, there's a $5 entry fee and you get a booster pack when you enter. (See previous answer by owner for more details).
We don't regularly carry dice towers/trays.
As others have said, walk-ins are always welcome. Even during larger events, we try to keep at least a couple of tables open for walk-in play.
No, as long as we have open tables, you're welcome to use them. There are times when things get pretty crowded (especially on Saturdays), but we do our best to accommodate everyone.
Yes, we hold YGO tournaments every Saturday at 1:30pm. $5 entry fee and everyone gets a booster pack for entering (we have OTS packs). We typically have about 12-18 players each week. Occasionally we need to cancel the tournament when we have event conflicts, but that doesn't happen very often (about once or twice every 3 months).
Yes, they do.
