Definitely one of my favorite places to go for a morning hike. My friends and I do this 3 or 4 times a week every morning before going to work. Since we go when it's dark, the views aren't always the best but being able to see across the entire Valley is pretty amazing. Also, up on the trails the sky looks pretty great. I definitely recommend this for anywhere from an easy to relatively difficult hike as there are multiple trails to take.

Very steep hike. I'm not sure how people bike this. It does get very narrow, I was concerned that a bike was going to come down as I struggled to go up. Thankfully that never happened.

Grove creek trial is the the less popular trail in comparison with battle creek which is right next door. For that reason, it’s my preference. Less people, more open area to explore, still fun spots to find by the river, etc.

It is about 1.5 miles from the trailhead to the first really good waterfall view spot. But keep going! A little known fact is that this trail has 7 waterfalls including a nice double waterfall just above the foot bridge 2.2 miles up.
This will be a harder hike if you bring backpacking stuff up to Indian Springs. There are a lot of hikers though, so you might encounter a lot of people, especially during the evening.
