Everyone was pleasant and helpful... the casino was clean and had a good assortment of machines. ours was a short visit and the restrooms were clean. I was lucky and left a little better off this time than last time. we had stayed here before but this time it was a brief stop and it was fun and a nice place to enjoy a few hours. thanks!

We rented a room for two night(Thurs and Friday). Thursday to enjoy the seafood buffet. Buffet hours 3-9 Pm. We arrived at 630 pm only to find out the buffet seat numbers were all handed out by 4:30. We would have never stayed if we new this would happen. The staff said we should of known this would happen. They said it happened the prior weeks. Posting this on their website would have been nice. Unfortunately it was to late to cancel the room. We stayed then for the shrimp buffet on Friday only to be disappointed on the quality of food. The shrimp were over cooked except for the grilled. Used to be the best buffet around but certainly not worth the 3 1/2 hour drive any longer.

Spent 5 days at this casino, from June 20 to June 24th. Marie/Maria in guest reservation was awesome. She was so helpful to my sister and I in so many ways. She directed us to tourist sites in Duluth, helped me out with a health food store, encouraged us to do the seafood buffet, which we did and it was wonderful. Kudos to her for making our stay so much more.

I brought my nephew here last night that moved here for Seattle Washington. We did not stay at the hotel but we played the slot machines. We didn’t win any money and what we did win we put back into the machine and had a great time. Very nice employees. My nephew is 7’3 and the staff had fun with him and very polite. We also liked the fact that BlackBear casino still has some of the older machines also.

Currently during this highly transmitted omicron variant no one is questioned at door nor are temps taken. Several times during the last few months i met up with people sick with covid at the casino the mind set was they will do what they want because theres no quarantine police and they had a life to live could care less who gets sick or who dies.(direct quote from one guy) i informed guard but was told everyone is welcome they cant discriminate against those sick with covid. Nor do they clean machines anymore.
Pre dud ism. Is this a state before you become a complete dud? Lol and Lord forbid the employees enjoy each other's company during their mundane shift.
No, not unless you have a higher up gaming card green or teal.

Yes, you may park an 18 wheeler there. There is no designated parking. All they ask is you don't park in the front parking lot.😄
Yes there is also an arcade and pool
There is room service all night long. Just call the front desk.

Yes I believe it is
Otter Creek Event Center is inside. It is part of the casino facility. The closest entrance would be thru the semi enclosed parking ramp attached to the casino. The valet uses 2nd floor of that ramp. Ground floor is for patrons to park. There are numerous handicap spots and parking for the elders of Fondulac nation.
The breakfast is very good, i highly recommend it if your staying at the casino or just passing by i would stop for breakfast for sure.
There is one elliptical and a bike. I think there was one treadmill too. No weights. No TV. This is in a very small room by the pool

Yes fireworks in Duluth! Any where along Skyline Blvd is a good place to watch but come early!
No, but a KOA campground is located less than 2 miles of the casino.
I would call them. Also please post back if you do find out. Thank you.
I don't know. I only went there one time. But we did not see any shows.
Yes, but it's not as though they have people walking around checking room cards. I've swam there without a room quite a few times, just be quiet and courteous and they generally won't care.
I'd call the casino directly and ask- they are great about answering any questions. If you sign up for players club card they have email alerts, they may have text alerts as well.
You should get one. Receiving event alerts and sometimes special offers for players club members really is a neat service.
Service animals are welcome. Ive seen them on a number of occasions. But regular pets are not
