When we walked in we immediately decided not to eat in the store because it smelled like cigarettes. We were served free samples of the food and it was delicious. We made our order based on the tastings and as we were checking out we were having great conversation with the shop owner and he was meticulously bagging up our order. What we didn't realize was our order came as a meal combo so we got more than we expected or wanted. (we ordered humus but it came with the meal) Also, we ordered three baklava and they gave us six. I thought they were just being generous because it was toward the end of the day. As he was ringing us out he continued to talk and mumbled the amount as it quickly disappeared from the register. It was over $100!! I was shocked when the reciept was printed! I didn't say anything because the damage was done, although I should have. We were charged for all six baklava even though we ordered three. We now joke about our hundred dollar humus, but we will never go back there again.

I have tried this restaurant couple of time now. Food is amazing. So tasty. Fresh salads are the best. Pies also really really good. If you are a baklava lover, try their date baklava. One of the best baklava I have ever tried (I have tried almost every single place with baklava in richmond). Fresh pasta salads are super refreshing. Flavors balances out very well. Owner is also super nice and easy to talk with. My major concern is with pricing. The prices are not mentioned properly outside or there is no menu with prices. Every time I go, they charge me different prices. Compared to other places, this place is very pricy. If you get two small salads, two pies and two baklavas, then your bill will very between 60-75. It’s true that this place has tasty food. But its absolutely not worth for the price you are paying if you consider other factors. You can buy a rack of ribs for lesser price than here compare to non-protein salad from this place. So, summery: SO TASTY, TOO EXPENSIVE.

Today was my first time in the market. Amazing selection. I came away with all my favorites. Fantastic food, I've been ordering take-out for 2 years and this place has never disappointed me.
