I never imagined working for a company that was as supportive and genuinely caring about their employees well-being and success as Visiting Angels has! So grateful to be a part of such a great team in helping provide the best quality care that we can.

My mother just passed at the age of 94 and I was lucky enough to have Visiting Angels as part of her 24/7 care over the last several years, especially since I don't live in Florida. On all counts they were helpful, caring, and all around first class. Would recommend them without reservation.

After working many years with employers who had round the clock caregivers of the highest caliber, I then had to begin my search for my own parents. This was a huge undertaking and much more emotional than anything I had experienced. My experience with Visiting Angels started out abysmally and then ended even worse. I began with just once a week and the woman they sent not only got lost and was late, but made my parents feel so uncomfortable that they didn't want anyone to come back. Then there was an incident that required more care, my mother fell and broke her arm. So instead of researching, in desperation I went back to Visiting Angels. The one star in this scenario was their RN, who came and set up care with such expediency I had hope for a better second experience. Well, what this company considered their best candidate was way below par and the others just lower from there. Without naming any names, their best was sweet but did not have much intuition or get go. But we got what we got and I did not have the wherewithal to look elsewhere. I expect caregivers to be aware, to take initiative and act. To create a sanitary and safe environment and not be on the phone, studying, cooking in the middle of the night or just simply not caring. Like a miracle, I found an amazing woman through my parent's Rabbi after about 2 months with Visiting Angels. She worked independently through word of mouth. I was so thankful. This woman did what she needed to do and then some. And despite what the office manager at Visiting Angels had said about the long-term care insurance accepting this woman, they paid efficiently and completely for her. One more comment: payment. My parents have long term care insurance. At the time I used Visiting Angels, I was only opening a claim for my mother, now I use both my mother and father's. With this company, I decided for them to process the claims and get reimbursed. There was problem after problem about these claims and took up a great deal of my time. And then I received threats about not paying this company when I just wanted the time for the claims to go through. Since my parents have returned up north, I found a small agency through a friend. Every claim has gone smoothly and all the caregivers have been caring and efficient. There has also never been a problem with coverage at any time. Advise with insurance. Pay in full and get reimbursed, don't let any agency process claims in order to receive money. And never upset this owner, it's not pretty. This is about money, not about care giving. There are many choices out there, look around if you have the time.

Leyda and the team at Visiting Angels were great in getting us set up with the services we needed. They were professional, friendly, and always willing to help in any way they could. The angel we have, Fred, is an amazing caregiver. I would highly recommend their services!

Many families in Palm Beach County have senior loved ones who are transitioning back home following a hospital stay and need someone to help create a smooth transition. With the Ready-Set-Go Home program, we can refer a caregiver who can help your loved one safely return home. We’ll work in accordance with directives from your loved one’s medical team to ensure your loved one follows a healthy routine and stays safe at home. Not only do we help seniors easily recover at home, but we also help prevent the likelihood of being readmitted to the hospital, which is a common issue amongst seniors.
