This is an older facility that was staffed with a student upon our arrival. More professional staff were present the following morning, changing my overall impression to a more positive experience. Great location. Minor access challenges exist due to recent highway updates. Would recommend to those looking for comfortable lodging in the Brookings area.

It's an ok stay. The commons area is super nice but the rooms are just ok. The bed and bedding were amazing I should add, it was the shower that wasn't great. It is very small, with a short shower door frame that we hit our head on. The shower door leaked, it needed an update. The paint job was poor quality and there was a green heavy duty shop extension cord being used to plug items in by the TV...not what I expected in a higher quality room. The jacuzzi tub motor was pretty quiet compared to others I have experienced. Not a bad stay, just not as nice as I expect for the brand and price.

This is pretty good location. The rooms are clean and everything is comfy. They offer all the basic amenities (coffee, breakfast, etc.) and are in a good location in Brookings.

Pool is very small and there is no hot tub or lounge area. Staff is nice and the breakfast is good. But if you have a lot of "down time" on your trip, there is not much to do at this hotel. Beds/sheets did not seem very clean, but lobby area was cleaned regularly.
