I think SIH has the most lack luster lab registration employee named Tracy in the Medical Arts building. Doesn’t smile, rude, flat and just going through the motions. Hate dealing with her, each encounter she is worse than the time before. How about a fresh face, who likes people and their job. After all your customers deserve that and more.

Set up appointment for PA Sanders Tuesday August 30. Night before appointment received text canceling - said could set up new appointment at 0815 on 09/06. I agreed. Received text on 09/05 confirming appointment at 0800 (changed time). I agreed. Showed up for appointment at 0755. Processed in downstairs no problem. Told me to go to second floor and wait for doctor. Sat in waiting room for 20 minutes. Went to desk and asked Woman if Doc delayed. She said appointment was canceled AGAIN and she "just didn't have time to call me and tell me." (Takes five seconds to dial a number). If they cannot remember to call you if an appointment is cancelled what else will they forget to do?

Like all of SIH, the practitioners here are hit and miss. I've had great experiences with Alicia Cremeens, PA in Gastroenterology but VERY negative experiences with Dr. Haitham Hassan in Rheumatology. The lab at this location is much better and faster than Carbondale Hospital. I don't use Urgent Care often but I've found it's better to go to Shawnee.
