My father was taken here due to a medical emergency. The staff took the upmost care of him by giving him dignity, around the clock care, and most of all respect not only for him but our family. The nurses were very informative and the emergency surgeon was very professional. The peaceful scenery gave me serenity in the midst of the worst time of my life, from the beautiful ocean and palm trees, to the playful dolphins and docile manatees sporadically scattered around the shore. I will forever be thankful to the people who cared for my father in his last days on earth.

They do and the check in process for labs and xray is efficient. The Lab and Xray Departments run as they should. I've never waited more than 30 minutes and my average wait time is 10 minutes.
Just call release of records. They will be able to help you.

From heart.org: "If your blood pressure reading is 180/120 or greater and you are experiencing any other associated symptoms of target organ damage such as chest pain, shortness of breath, back pain, numbness/weakness, change in vision, or difficulty speaking then this would be considered a hypertensive emergency. Do not wait to see if your pressure comes down on its own, Call 9-1-1."

A variety of factors -- including services rendered and what kind of health insurance you have -- determine what your out-of-pocket expenses and other costs might be. However, if you have a non-life-threatening emergency, you can visit one of our Urgent Care Clinics. These costs are typically lower than visiting an Emergency Department. You can learn more about these at HFnow.org, as well as schedule an appointment.
Wait times can vary, depending on the number of patients and what their emergencies are. You can schedule your Emergency Department visit online, however, at hfnow.org.
