Guitar center's corporate office is top notch. I get excellent service everytime I call them. They will resolve any problems the local guitar centers can't. I just hope the branches provided this level of service.

I was in US for a couple of days and GC held my order off for verification AFTER charging my credit card. I had my flight scheduled for the next week and their email message felt on spam folder. I hired the next afternoon delivery, but it took 3 extra days to get solved and guess what? My package arrived after my flight back to Brazil! I'm going to return the package and still gotta wait for my refund in the next few weeks. If you guys want to apply verification process, do it BEFORE charging the credit card, put a status called "UNDER VERIFICATION", let the customer aware about how that damn process work and contact him/her over phone number/text message ! I have bought 3 good guitars on their stores among many other stuff in the past, but from now on, GC never again !

No. It's just the corporate headquarters. There is a store a few blocks away near the Target where they have many guitars!
Arthur, Guitar Center, in my experience, rates lower than even Wal-Mart in terms of customer service, courtesy and professionalism. I highly recommend searching out ANY OTHER business for your music equipment needs. This company is to be avoided at all costs...they do not care about honoring their policies, serving their customers or rectifying problems - even problems that are SOLELY their fault; they care only about getting your money into their pocket.
