Our favorite place to go tent camping! The sunsets are gorgeous and we love the privacy of the walk in tent sites. Wash houses are always clean. We will keep coming back every year.

This place has always been one of my favorites at Clark's Hill (or Strom Thurmond) Lake, because it has absolutely beautiful scenery, wonderful staff, and everything is kept so clean and tidy. It's never overly crowded (well, maybe on holiday weekends), and has plenty of space for large groups. It's also a wonderful getaway for the summer in Ga, because there is always a cool breeze blowing off the lake, so it just feels nicer. Great parks, too! Kids of all ages can enjoy.

Great sites right on the water. Two very clean bath houses. Kayaks were not out yet. I wanted to rent one. The other campers were quiet after hours which is always nice.

Was a great weekend at campsite 81! My husband, our dog and I hiked the campground trail loop and connected to the beach trail and back one day and the next day we did Rock Dam trail ( almost 7 mile trail) and we got to see the back country campsites and they looked great. When we come back we'd definitely go for Campsite C in the backcountry bc you could hike the 4 miles in but you could also kayak in! Great staff and clean facilities at the regular campsites. All other dogs and people were friendly. Can't wait to return!

$34....We got discount with federal access/disability pass...1/2 price in August.
Does the camping area have a laundry
That's like the oddest question I've ever seen on this website.
We often anchor our boat out in the deeper water and swim or float. It's great.
Always be prepared for bugs of all kinds when out in nature. And check yourself before leaving. But I don't think it has any more or less than similar areas.
Go to ReserveAmerica.com to see availability and make a reservation.
NO
I know they do offer senior discounts. They do offer annual passes, but I am not sure what those conditions are.
Check with the visitor center when you first arrive. They had a 1st Hike of the year activity when we visited. They have a good number of well marked trails. If you like hiking, geocaching or orienteering they have that as well.
Yes it's a $5 per day, per vehicle to use the Park, but we bought a $50 Annual Pass, so that covered all of our days there.
What's the actual question?
Sorry I can't tell you cause we used our own.
I am not sure. Just give them a call. They do actually answer the phone regularly here.
Mistletoe is a GA state park. I believe the pass you mentioned is for National and Federal parks only.
They are site prefer, just have to call and check what site is available.
This is a huge lake with lots of room for plenty of people. Don't forget everyone needs a fishing license as it is a state park and game wardens are quite prevalent. They are very strict and will confiscate your gear and take you directly to jail if you are an unlicensed fisherman.
We were at site 20, on the finger that Congress in to the amphitheater. Some campers across the way brought there boat up to shore and kept it over night. Our site was awesome but it was lightly wooded between site and the shoreline..
They don't close the boat ramp. But like David said... unless you got the code or staying there.
Im a veteran, I believe I received a 10% discount.
Don't think so
No, state parks do not accept them.
No. I didnt them that close to the water.
I don't remember you can check the website
You can check in later or they even have a set up to check in the next day of you arrive to late.
Go to there website
No. There is a tiny store in office but not much. Dollar General and others about 10 min away.
$5 day pass. Pets on leash. Only 1 cabin was dog friendly. Don't know about swimming.
Yes and you can get a temporary Georgia license for a day or how ever many days you will be there, if you are not a Georgia resodent.
Unsure on sprint but Verizon was good but heard no-one complaining about service
