I don’t know if he is the owner or Manager but he was rude. There was 5 of the group that just walk in the restaurant and i was the last one. They were all standing there by the door so when i entered i ended up not closing the door because i was standing exactly on the doorway. This guy walk in and told me to close the door unless i want to pay half of the electric bill. He was so serious and did not say it in a friendly matter or joking manner. He was very stern, like he was scolding his own child. Maybe because i am a asian ? Idk really. We were about to leave and forget about eating there were the owner was so rude but i told them it’s ok. Lets just eat here. The food is not that great. One of the sauce was extremely salty. We are outside anyways . The waiter was polite and courteous but the food is not good. We will not comeback again and will not recommend this restaurant to any of my friend.

You could never experience all the restaurants on Ocracoke unless you lived there. But if you've only got a day or two, Dajio should certainly be one you visit. The location and atmosphere are perfect for lunch or dinner, a romantic date or just a hang with friends. The sunroom-like dining room make you feel like you're still soaking in Ocracoke while inside. The need to have excellent seafood while in the Outer Banks will be more than satisfied here. The crab cakes don't disappoint.

Had a chance to stop by this past week while on vacation. The food was excellent and they had the best selection of spirits on the island. They were very hospitality and we had great conversation with the bartender. A must go while visiting the island.

We are visitors IDK
Dajio hours for the fall are Monday-Saturday 5-9 , Closed Sunday’s .
No. The owners,/manager/ cook are the same. They change the menu yearly.
We closed for the season at the end of October . Thank you for checking . We will re-open in the Spring
You should be good just to show up, call them a little bit ahead of time if you feel you need to.
These questions go out to other guests, not the owners. I think that it would be a decent enough venue but you would certainly want to call them to explore that possibility.
Each year we open the week of Easter and close the weekend around Halloween . Hope that helps
