Please update your website. We are from out of town and of course checked the website for things to do in Néw Bern. It stated the Farmers Market was open on Tuesdays. Got here and it’s closed!

Fantastic farmers market. We come here every Saturday for our produce. They have some cool artists booths as well and everyone is super friendly.

Tuesdays at the market are definitely different than Saturdays in regard to the amount of vendors and guests. Also, this can change considerably from one Tuesday to the next based on weather and other factors. There is still a variety of unique vendors and the pace is a bit slower, which offers guests an opportunity to learn more about the products available at the market. It's definitely worth a visit!
unfortunately per the Health Dept: because food is served in the market no dogs (except service dogs) are allowed inside; sorry, we love dogs too! The market is made up of a building and parking lot with vendors both inside the building and on the parking lot; outside vendors can be overflow and/or vendors who need more space than indoors will allow. The market is open Saturday mornings year round and Tuesday mornings during the season.

R Garden (first vendor on left as you enter from foyer off of Front St) says she will have some tomorrow, Sat June 8. Be sure to ask if you don't see them!

New Bern Farmers Market is open Saturday, Nov 3, 8am - 2pm and Tuesday, Nov 6, 10am - 2pm. Tue Nov 6 is the first "Handmade Holidays Market" every Tuesday until Christmas.
