Recently moved away, but I really enjoyed working out at this location. Less crowded than others in the area and has everything you need for a good workout. However, I would be remiss if I didn't acknowledge the warm and helpful staff that made every interaction feel like I was family. Good place, great people!

In regards to their summer camp program I'd highly recommend against sending your young child here. Extremely unorganized, unprofessional, piss poor communication and to be honest you can tell they could care less and don't want to be there. So if you were considering their summer camp for your child and wanted to check the reviews this is a heads up now to avoid and instead enroll your child in the other YMCA on High St. Night and day difference.

Yes it usually is unless an employee hasn't unlocked the doors to the entrance other than that it's open .Have a good workout and enjoy the rest of your day

Yes, this location does have an indoor basketball court. It's often used for child care programs, but in the evening and on weekends there are open basketball times.
Week days (M-F) local residents can sign themselves in. In the weekends, they have to be with a current Y member. Last I saw, 1st visit is free, 2nd visit is $5, and 3rd visit is $10. Out of town guests always have to be with a member, and they get 7 visits a year at $5 per visit.
Yes, they're listed on the Hampton roads YMCA website. Go to programs or classes, then go to the location you are looking for and it lists all the classes available for that day for each day of the week.
We do! There will be an Aqua Zumba class on Wednesday and Thursday evening beginning on June 20 at 6:30pm in our outdoor pool.
