Update: this ymca location has improved since the last time I reviewed it. The staff is diversified and the classes have been revamped with new instructors. This is a good facility for people of all ages.

Great facility, Great staff but now that Covid has not been a huge issue they should go back to regular hours closing at 8pm weekdays & their weekend hours make it hard to find time to get a good workout routine,The Taylor Bend YMCA is open til 9pm on weekdays along with other YMCA facilitates

Me & my husband love it here I was nervous to try out stay and play but I’m glad I did I believe her name was summer my baby literally goes to no one so to see her smiling and wanting to be there is the best and the other one Kennedy played with my kids the entire time my kids always look forward to coming because of them! Can’t wait to try swim lessons

I signed up for beginning swim lessons one summer and PAID for them. I bought new equipment (suit, cap, goggles, etc) and showed up for the first lesson bright and early. They let me sign in and go change and get into the pool. I waited in the pool ALONE for 20mins and noone came. I changed and went back to the front desk and was told the class had been cancelled a couple weeks ago for that term because noone else signed up.....when was anyone going to tell me? They let me pay my money, show up, and EVEN SIGN IN, and told me nothing. Noone had contacted me beforehand. The person at the front desk didn't even apologize for the inconvenience. Noone did. Dont waste your time here.
