Love coming here to camp, fish and take walks through nature. There is a really nice boat ramp too, if you want to go take the boat out on the river. It's beautiful out here.

No the Weetok trail is completely free camping. Just pitch a tent, no fires should be along the trail, there are designated camping sites at Haywood landing as well as Long Point that allows you to have a campfire only restriction is 2-week max and first come first serve.
It is brackish water. Fresher after a rain event and saltier after no rain.
