There's a ten dollar parking fee and they only take cash or check so be prepared. It's a very good boat ramp with plenty of room to turn around. There are minimal amenities but there are bathrooms.

Yes, 10 miles about 3.5 hours of actual paddle time, naturally that is dependent on water levels, wind direction, etc., it also doesn't include stopping to float, swim, picnic, etc.
Yes. Be careful though of the river. It has a very strong current would not advise letting a dog go into the water. That is always the dog must be on a leash.
