Great place to launch a kayak, SUP, or canoe because there's a large sandy area and very little current. Paddle upstream (under eye 75) since downstream the current gets strong; might be tough getting back. Bible Camp road is a 3.3 mile unpaved road with one dip near the end often covered by standing water; take it slow.

Your boat will not survive this road. My motor literally flew off the back of my boat, and that was not the only damage. Got halfway down the road, and found it closed off and completely under water as far as could be seen. This road is like something out of a horror flick. You WILL regret having ever turned down here. Oh my God.

It's not a camping area. The river is up and there is not a lot of shore area. There is camping at Oleno state park that's nearby. However, I do not know about the prices.
