Owners are so friendly!! They provided live music, free hot dogs and hamburgers for Fourth of July. Not to mention the river was about 200 yards away to get in and cool off. Will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful experience. The campground was very clean and well maintained. The staff was ever-present and always willing to talk and answer any questions. The sites were perfect. The bathhouse is SUPER nice! Nice neighbors, not noisy. My grandkids loved the creek area! The only downside is the road getting there, and that is totally not within the control of the campground. It is rough is spots, really rough, and definitely needs better maintaining by the county. But just take it slow and you'll be OK. I highly recommend Piney River!

Our family had the most wonderful stay at Piney River. We were warmly welcomed by the campground hosts who had the most caring personalities. We had a beautiful riverfront site that kept our children entertained for hours. The river is what childhood dreams are made of! It is shallow enough to walk across to an area to build forts, yet deep enough in other sections to jump off of a rock. We've been traveling full-time for 6 months and this is by far our favorite campground so far. Piney River is a special place and the owners are going out of their way to provide more than just a place to camp, but an environment to build memories and help families grow closer together. We look forward to staying here again!

Can't say enough about this place. It is a beautiful area with plenty to do for the outdoors type. The people working the place are nice as can be and have done everything thing in their power to make sure our stay is as pleasant and relaxing as possible. We did have a flash flood one morning with about 20 minutes to pack up and move. They did everything they could to help get everyone out of the danger area and moved to a safer spot with no injuries and no loss of property. They didn't even charge extra for the added adventure. If you choose a riverside site, make sure you know your rig well enough to move on a moments notice. My wife and I are recently full-time rv living and so far this place is definitely one of our favorites. We will be back anytime we are in this area. The pictures are some of the views we've had from our porch during our stay.

There is no internet. We use 4g. No TV. It is a nice campground though. Bring your camper, the cabins are expensive,, but the lots are very affordable. They are still developing the campground. This is our second time here and will be back.
Not sure. Call them.
