I would highly recommend checking out this store! I found this store fairly recently in my search to find a new bird to keep as a pet. Almost none of the local stores had any of the birds I was looking for, and the one that did had very hostile birds that did not look like they were raised right. I went to about 7 stores prior to this one, and I can tell you for sure that this is the best in the area. It has an excellent selection of Birds you can't find in many other stores, all for very reasonable prices. The staff are wonderful! I could tell that each bird in the store was raised well, and I was incredibly surprised by how tame every bird from here was. The Staff where incredibly supportive and informative on selecting the right bird, and a week later, one of the ladies called me after store hours for 30 minutes to answer some of my questions. If you are in a similar situation to me, I would surely check out this store, it is quite probable that you find something you will like!

Very cool shop. The owner is nice and personable. Their prices on seed, food, and toys are very reasonable. Though the variety leaves something to be desired, if you find something here you birds like, come here instead of pet smart. My only complaint are the hours of operation. Their hours are weird and they only open after 12:00 PM making it difficult to shop before work.

I'm from Washington State. In 2019 I was visiting KY & TN and about to head home when I noticed Adventure Birds of Bon Aqua (ABoBA) so my girlfriend & I decided to stop in. I was looking for a baby lovebird. They didn't have any at the shop but they knew of a local breeder who'd recently hatched out some birds so they made a call for me and found what I wanted. The breeder was a bit under the weather (this was pre-covid) but otherwise, the timing was perfect- the bird was still being hand-fed and had a black beak (indicative of a very young lovebird), which is exactly what I wanted. ABoBA threw in some food & a hand-feeding syringe, I bought a travel cage, some baby bird formula, and I was on my way. I drove back to Washington nonstop with my new buddy resting in a beanie on my lap. I had to stop every couple of hours to mix some formula for the feedings, but the trip went well. It has been three years now, the bird is wonderful. She's very smart, learns tricks very quickly (clicker training works wonders), I taught her to fetch so sometimes she finds & brings things to me, she's strong, healthy, and tips the scale at 57 grams so she's on the larger side for lovebirds. Her feathers are thick, coloring is vibrant, and she LOVES napping in the palm of my hand. It's unfortunate that I live so far away because I would love to buy another. If you're in the area, stop by the shop. They have a great selection and will happily do what they can to get you set up with a wonderful pet. Betty knew I lived on the other side of the country and would never be back in their store, but she still went above and beyond to set me up perfectly with exactly what I was looking for.
