SCAM. Apply if you like to lose money and time. I was fooled. There was already a lot of negative feedback that warned me that the management here is terrible and that they go out of their way to make you submit an application. At first, I believed that this couldn't happen to me, DON'T REPEAT MY SAME MISTAKE. Don't be fooled and don't believe a word of what they tell you. Initially, they are courteous, and kind and tell you they have many apartments like the one you are looking for, that there is no waiting list, that your application is valid for their sister communities, etc. Immediately after submitting the application, they disappear. To follow up with them you have to go to their office in person because they don't answer the phone or emails. So I went there and they told me that they had lost my application. The second time I went there they told me that the apartment I was seeing online on my phone (in real-time) was no longer available but that everything was fine, there was a 99% chance another apartment would become available, but they wanted my wife to submit an application too, so we did. The last time I went there, they came up with yet another excuse, saying that one of the documents I had attached to my previous application could not be accepted. (This was RIDICULOUS, a friend of mine had attached the same document a few months ago and they accepted it.) So they knew they were about to not accept my application but they wanted my wife to submit hers. In the end, they didn't want to find a solution to the problem. The important thing for them is that you submit an application, then they ignore you completely until they find a way to make you lose the application money. PS I have a 5 figure monthly income, don't think that if you have great credit and make decent money they will accept your application. They just want you to apply to get your application fee, then good luck finding another place to live.

Complete waste of time. If there’s a negative option, I would’ve chosen it instead of one star. I’ve applied 3 months prior. We’re coming overseas and we personally visited Addison Ridge to apply. 1. Submitted all the documents by e-mail and uploaded it as well in my Addison Ridge account but strangely enough, they kept asking me to submit a PDF file (all documents given to them are PDF). 2. ID verification - we kept telling them to send it by e-mail or WhatsApp or send it to our overseas number, called them and e-mailed multiple times that we cannot receive it by sms as our US mobile number doesn’t work overseas, again reinforce to use other ways to send it and gave those options multiple times. 3. No one answers the phone. 4. They informed us they need 2 months notice before tenants leave. 2 months arrived and passed. No updates. When someone finally answered the phone, we were informed there’s no availability. When they finally answered my e-mail, we were told there’s an available apartment but there’s a few people on the waiting list before us. Why not tell us that there is no availability rather than string us along. We are coming from overseas, the amount of stress, anxiety, wasted effort, wasted time, wasted money for zero outcome is reprehensible. They’re a disgrace. *****As I can’t find a reply option here*** I’ve reached out multiple times after this review. No response. No automatic message that they’ve received my e-mail. I’ve sent my documents multiple times even uploaded my documents in PDF in their website for applicants. There’s a massive PDF in the file and they insist it’s a screenshot. I’ve printed the entire file and downloaded it as PDF. Not jpeg or any photo file. PDF. 10 times I keep resending my documents in PDF. And they always request the same nonsense that I send a PDF form file, is it because I’m foreign and I’m not white that I’m stupid to not know what PDF is? I’m working in a global company that sends, receives and uses word, pdf, jpeg - I send it to people checking if I’m mental because they keep asking the same documents they say is not PDF. Is it PDF! If others can see it as PDF. What kind of prehistoric computers does Addison Ridge have. They give inconsistent answers if for apartment availabilities. 2 months notice. Then 1 month notice. Or could be 1 week notice. Am I going to wait a week or a day? Before moving to another country and they’ll tell me, there’s no availability? Where’s the consideration, empathy, understanding, that we’re moving thousand miles away, another continent! For an apartment that’s not even available? If they’re not sure that there will be any availabilities and I’m not even on the top of the waitlist, who knows where I am in that list, they won’t even tell me! Then why, in God’s name, would you even string people along and say, there could be people that move out with one week notice just wait. They use understaff as their excuse that they can’t answer calls or emails. That they’ve been understaff for years. Why haven’t management dealt with it? They told me they reply and call back. I didn’t receive any call back, not once, nothing at all and it’s painful to wait for weeks just to get a response that’s almost always saying, your document is not PDF. They can’t even update you for whatever is happening. And they have the audacity to say reach out to them. I have reached out to you’s. Dozens of times without any response. Amateurs for a lack of a better word.

This place is evicting people for stuff they did not do and it’s only BLACK PEOPLE you could pay rent on time and still get a random note on your door about you must leave (not even a court document just a random note with no reason) and they lease DOESNT FOLLOW NC RENTERS LAWS STAY AWAY FROM HERE I have a lawyer look it over before you sign like I did!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If I could leave a zero star review I absolutely would. The entire staff is rude and unprofessional, my car was broken into and they were zero help. Also multiple other cars were stolen from the lot and driven straight out the “secure” front gate, which has not worked since I moved in. The pool is disgusting and so is the trash situation. Save yourself some money and headache by going across the street! UPDATE! 20 mins after writing this review, 3 armed men drove up and stole my vehicle in broad daylight! The staff was noticed of situation and I asked for a garage to keep my vehicle in for the night until I could get my locks and car key fob reprogrammed but I was told it’s not an option. So here I am “carless” thanks AR!
