A very nice pool to swim at. The water is almost always refreshing to swim in. Great for lap swimming and great for families. As with many other public pools in the region, I wish it would stay open after Labor day. NC still gets hot in September.

Yes! Go to any City of Raleigh year round pool or community center and ask for aquatic birthday parties! You need to schedule them ahead of time so the managers know to schedule more lifeguards to work. Different pools have different birthday times available!
Here is the link for the hours of operation - https://raleighnc.gov/longview-pool. Here is the link for the gate admission fees - https://raleighnc.gov/parks/aquatics#paragraph--232801 You may bring drinks, food and snack - but glass containers and alcohol are not allowed. Currently we are only offering lap swim and recreation swim at the seasonal pools - the year round pools (Pullen, Optimist, Millbrook, and Buffaloe Road pools) are offering programs.
The City of Raleigh website has all info on community pools. At this time, Longview pool is open on weekends, as are most of the seasonal pools. Admission for 55+ was and a teen was only $5. They are open today from 1-7
